City:
It is located about forty miles from the coast. The town has a population of ten million people to which we must add three or four of the immediate environment. The climate is tropical, usually the temperature is above 25 º. In February is the rainy season. It is a tourist town. As in all large cities, there is some uncertainty so it is advisable to use caution.
Currency:
The currency is real. It is not convertible outside the country. As should take dollars and switch as it is needed. The change is not made in banks but in the exchange houses are also often travel agencies. The change in the airport is very bad and has a high commission so it is best to change the first dollars in the hotel. Currently, the dollar was at 2.5 reais.
El Centro:
The Center is located in the Spanish Colegio Miguel de Cervantes. Located in a residential area and the reference point is the football stadium of Sao Paulo. It cafeteria. There are no nearby restaurants.
Hotels:
In the downtown area and no hotels are quite far closer, in the surroundings of Avenida Paulista. This is a commercial area where you will find a lot of hotels of different categories.
Transportation:
To and from the hotel to the center there is no normal combination of public transport, making it necessary to use taxis. The traffic is very intense throughout the day. The taxi fare is between 15 and 26 depending on the actual rate (rate 1 between 7 and 20 hours, rate 2 between 20 and 7 hours), traffic intensity, rain (total jam during rush hour) and the exact location of the hotel. It is advisable to leave in the morning, at least three quarters of an hour before the start of the test.
